Matthew is active in your community. Months before the historic opening of the "Galleria Mall" he was there....sharing his views, running the numbers, hiring and firing, and making the minor adjustments that were needed to have a project such as The Galleria get off the ground........well not really, but he likes to think so. All joking aside, Matthew just has a lot of fun in life and with his clients. When it comes down to serious issues he is focused and intense for you, but always keeps things light so as to make the entire real estate process fun and enjoyable. His goal, "To make my clients turn into friends and be their realtor for life. I do not want them to go anywhere but me when it comes to real estate related issues."

Matthew wanted to give back to the community, but was unsure what he should do. He loves kids, and Lord willing plans on raising many, so he decided to make an inpact on the lives of high school boys. He coached Junior Varsity Boys Basketball for three years at Forest Lake Christian High School. He coached them to two league championships and a 55-9 record. You reap what you sow, and because of donating his time his business flourished...so much so that he had to put the coaching on hold...for now. One of his dreams would be to teach and coach at a christian college.

Matthew is an accomplished golfer; Golfing in high school, and then later in college. He shoots in the mid to high seventees. He loves the South Placer County area because there are so many wonderful golf courses around. Check out his golf link and look at them first hand.

Matthew attends Bayside Church in Granite Bay which has grown from a couple hundred members just five years ago to more than 5,000. He is very active with the Sr. High Group and the Adventure Sports Ministries. With these ministries he has: climbed Mt. Shasta, climbed Half Dome, Skydived, Mountain Biking at Lake Tahoe, Scuba Dived in Monterey Bay, ministered and built a church in Mexico and much more. There are many wonderful churches in South Placer County...something to please everyone.

    

 

 

Matthew had the joy and honor of marrying the love of his life, the beautiful Holly Marsh, in March of this year. They had a beautiful, private ceremony on the beach in Mexico. Holly is a wonderful addition to Matthew's life and a very strong supporter and promoter of his business. Please check out the link on our homepage to see the pictures from their wedding.

Matthew is the oldest of two boys blessed to Gerry and Cindy Stewart of Cool, CA. Matthew's brother, Daniel is four years younger and was adopted from Seoul, Korea. Gerry and Cindy have been Real Estate Brokers for over 27 years. Cindy was the number one agent in all of Placer County in 1989 selling approx. 114 homes!!! "We are a very close family", says Matthew.
